Lumi World’s Unique Lands
Real estate is the most important thing in the world. In Lumi, it still retains its value and lands are a highly sought after commodity. Within our game, the lands of the Lumi World have been carefully crafted and serve a variety of purposes, especially when it comes to what kind of activities the Lumiers (inhabitants of Lumi World) want to perform.
With the story of Lumi World already explained, farming is one of the most primary activity of Lumiers and therefore, every citizen gets a piece of farm land when they start the game. As a free to play game, every Lumier gets one free of cost. They can then proceed to the Factory to obtain seedboxes and either buy short day or long day seeds and start their agricultural journey.
But that is easier said than done. There are five different types of land and are categorized in three different scarcity levels. The more scarce a land is, the more expensive it is. Then there is the ever-changing weather. The right set of atmospheric conditions, the type of seeds and the type of land must complement each other for a successful crop and harvest.
While low-quality seeds and tough lands usually result in low farming yields, this is compensated with the chance of exceptional outcomes that include rare plants and produce, allowing you to recover the time and effort spent on growing on the difficult land.
While farming is the main activity in Lumi World, the residents do have the option to head over to Dream City, the largest urban dwelling on Lumi World. This metropolis is the oyster of the planet and offers nearly unlimited options for Lumiers to do whatever they want to. People can buy land in the Dream City and build different structures on it.
Divided into four distinct zones, each one presents different opportunities for Lumiers. The Buffer Zone separates the farming lands from the city, with industrial setups like wind farms, cattle farms, water treatment buildings and other factories. Then comes the Outskirts Zone that holds different entertainment options such as horse racing tracks, polo and stadiums and other sporting event complexes.
The Residential Zone is where the city dwellers live. They can either have villas, houses or live in high rise apartment buildings. Several malls and other shopping centers are also found here that serve the needs of residents.
Lastly, there is the City Center, the financial and business hub of the city. High-end activities and all sorts of businesses and offices are opened here. If you decide to open a business — any business, this is where you want your office to be.
Potential of Lands in Lumi World
Based on blockchain, the Lumi World represents each piece of land through an NFT. The owners are given the NFT and they have complete control over it. As owners, they can choose to do whatever they want with it. Have enough money to buy land in the City Center? Why not construct a large high tower on it and rent out the spaces like offices and make an earning?
If you want to remain in the farming business, you can always buy more lands and expand your agricultural empire. Alternatively, if you have a piece of land that has risen immensely in value and you want to capitalize on the profits, you can always sell it off and make money.
In Lumi World, the possibility of buying land, developing it and profiteering from it are endless. The sale, purchase and rental are made easy with the lands being NFT assets within the game. You are in complete control of your land.
